St. Landry Parish Schools Receive Grant for Classroom Management
(Opelousas, LA) - A workshop for all teachers in the area on classroom management will take place on August 3 – 4 in Opelousas. Michael Grinder, internationally renowned author and creator of The ENVoY Programs, will be the presenter. Grinder last visited St. Landry Parish in 2002 and 2003. The workshop is open to all educators in the area thanks to a grant from Knowledge Arts Foundation obtained by Charlotte Bihm, a grant writer for St. Landry Parish.
Contributions from business leaders are sought to help provide lunch for up to 200 teachers on August 3rd and 4th. Please contact Mary Yenik if your company can help.
There is no charge for the workshop, but pre-registration is necessary. Please call Mary Yenik at 337-826-4792 or email her at myenik@knowledgearts.net to register or get more information.
